From My Memory: Existential Problems. (Because Fuck A.I.)

When it comes to the BODY, including the MIND, it's use it or lose it.

You could grow your brain to write a text, or just have AI do it. And become weak and dependent on it.

Here are some EXISTENTIAL problems for humanity:

PEAK PHOSPHORUS and other components of FERTILIZER. Industrial farming relies on synthetic "NPK" fertilizer. NPK stands for Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium. Nitrogen is made in the form of Ammonia, made with an energy intensive process that uses Natural Gas as chemical feedstock. Phophorus is rare and mostly found in one region: Western Sahara. Potassium also comes from mining.

PEAK SOIL.

PEAK WATER.

PEAK DIESEL. We have painted ourselves in a corner with industrial civilisation. We created an infrastructure that mostly relies on Diesel. This is a finite substance.

CLIMATE CHANGE. The warming is accelerating. So are the cost and casualties. The Institute And Faculty For Actuaries (they calculate risk for the world's biggest financial institutions) concluded that if the planet heats by 3°C by 2050, 4 billion people will have died because of weather. Most mass extinctions happen because of global warming. This current warming event is happening tens to hundreds times faster than The End Permian Extinction Event that killed 96% of life. Big animals like us do not survive a bottle neck. Perhaps rats will make it through. I think by 2200, there won't be a human alive in all of reality. We are animals that need habitat: A Living Planet.

The only escape is not having children.

On a Plant Based Diet you get most of your nutrients from plants but allow for a small amount of animal products. ❗️Don't get your nutrition advice from randos like me. It's a mess, and I now know better. Especially when it comes to supplements. I now take a multivitamin that contains B12, D, Selenium, Iodine... and I take an Omega 3 algea supplement which Plant Eaters anecdotally need.
