  Denial? Anger? Bargaining? ...

I think I have less of a problem with evil itself than that the culture pretends this evil isn't evil. The way we have to pretend cars with 500kg batteries are Clean, Green and Zero. The way opinion makers throw around the word "Genocide" willy nilly but then when it really happens and really matters, they have a hard time deciding to use the word. The way some groups are protected like infants and other groups are free game. The way some ideas like limits to growth, overpopulation, extinction are common in the real world but taboo in the media. The way politicians make sure that problems don't get solved, if the solution means less profit the rich. What is frustrating is the Fakeness, the lack of Authenticity. The world is run by Liars and we have to go along with the pretence. Our culture is a fiction. We are all actors. Perhaps it's always been this way. You Can Con Most People Most Of The Time, But You Won't Be Able To Con The Laws Of Physics. peace

I notice that the people in my life that are in denial of the impermanence of everything are less happy and resilient than the people who Chose To Live In Reality. We should Do Our Best to make the world a better place. But at the same time, it's okay to experience discomfort. It's okay to suffer. It's okay to lose things. It's okay that our lifestyle is nearing its end. It's okay to die. I think most unhappiness comes from not accepting reality and being frustrated at What Should Be. I think fearing your inevitable death can warp your mind. A knot in your chill. We all have a Terminal Illness Called Being Alive. I was trying to get my people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Being sick sucks indeed. But living to 100 sucks as well. Every person I know that grew very old was wishing for sweet release. Everyone wants to grow old, no one wants to be old. Maybe it's better to die young in a war, if you are fighting the good fight, than to live a long life watching slop...

Thinking through my previous post: We feel negative emotions stronger than positive ones. It makes sense because problems demand your attention and compel action while Good News Is No News. Politicians, the media and social media keep grabbing our attention with negativity and it is personally ruining my chill. Nate Hagens  calls this ULTRA PROCESSED INFORMATION. I have come to the insight that all media, all social media and politicians keep stealing my attention with RAGE BAIT and TRAUMA PORN and that this has harmed my mental health. I'm just trying to stay informed. peace
