They Were Right About The Mainstream Media

So I got off Reddit and subscribed to a Newspaper instead. I got tricked into getting a 3 year subscription because of smallprint. I got tricked into thinking this was a quality newspaper, by reviews on the first page of Google.

The Newspaper was DeMorgen. Owned by the Billionaire Banking Family "Van Thillo", who own most of the media here, and get over 600 Million euros in subsidies every year to produce stories for 6 Million Flemish people. (Including Women and Children)

People on reddit warned me about the Mainstream Media. But I was trained to reject that notion.

DeMorgen (The Newspaper) had won journalism awards, even best European paper, but apperently journalism means strong opinions and publishing BullShit in the form of interviews. I thought journalism meant facts. Guess I'm an idiot.

DeMorgen had a few talking points that they would shove down my throat every day as if I was Goose they were fattening up: DO NOT take responsibility for the planet, keep eating meat, keep consuming, keep breeding, DO NOT drink alcohol (that's actually a good one),... and especially, sometimes multiple times per day I would get push notifications for texts that I would summerize as: "I HATE WHITE MEN".

I started thinking all the unfriendly immigrants I meet Hate me because of all the White Hate Texts that DeMorgen was force feeding me. It was ruining my chill. DeMorgen introduced Hatred into my life. Do immigrants really hate us Indiginous Belgians, as you can conclude if you read DeMorgen? 36% of People here have an immigrant background.

What was missing from DeMorgen was any kind of scientific environmental news. You would think that nature had never exsisted. "Experts" would claim, a blatant lie, that Climate Change was pretty much solved. Keep buying cars. Keep consuming. We must GROW GROW GROW.

This Newspaper wins journalism awards. I thought journalism meant facts. My naivity cost me €600. I deleted the DeMorgen app because I don't want HATE in my life.

But while WHITE MEN ARE EVIL, according to DeMorgen, the only acknowledgement they gave of Elon Musk doing a NAZI salute was a column saying that Musk is a comic book fan and he was trying to lift off like Superman. So they defend an actual NAZI.

DeMorgen told me people should only eat eggs and take Vitamine C, but this diabolical WHITE MAN is going to keep eating plants.

If this is The Left, they are as Bancrupt as MAGA. If this is the best journalism in Europe, We Are Truly Fucked.
