Make Choices As If There Are Over 8 Billion Of You

A frequent talking point is that you shouldn't take Personal Responsibility. That you are powerless to fix the planet. That it's all the fault of the Rich. And you are a helpless victim. Poor you.

Blaming rich people for everything feels to me the same as blaming Jews for everything. We were all born into this, and no one has absolute control.

Some billionaires have given their entire fortune to charity. What have you done? Share some nasty memes?

50% of habitable land is used for agriculture. Of that 50%, 75% is used for lifestock. Mostly to grow the feed for lifestock. Lifestock is the biggest cause of deforestation and Greenhouse Gasses. A Vegan diet (I'm a flexitarian) has 1/4 the ecological footprint (land, water, fertilizer, pesticide, soil...) of a regular diet. It's not only billionaires eating all that Cheese and Meat. It's Over 8 Billion Large Apes on this Tiny Planet.

100 Million cars are produced per year on this Tiny Planet. It's not billionaires driving all those boxes on wheels.

We need to make choices as if there are over 8 Billion of us making those choices. Everyone is responsible for the choices they can make. If you want billionaires to take responsibility for their choices, you should do the same. As one of Over 8 Billion Non-Billionaires eating their way through this Tiny Planet.

peace 🧡✌️🌱
