The Time The Senior Writer Of My Newspaper Accused A Green Party Member Of Genocide

Joël De Ceulaer, who makes a living writing strong opinions for DeMorgen, the billionaire newspaper I was stupid enough to subscribe to, repeated a techno-optimist meme, that probably was engineered in a Bayer/Monsanto think tank.

A Transexual member of the Green party had said that Isreal was committing a genocide. Joël, as a reaction, accused the Transexual of genocide for being opposed to GMOs. Claiming that GMOs could prevent hundreds of millions of cases of malnutrition.

He repeated the meme that there is a scientific consensus that GMOs are safe. I asked for evidence from many people for this claim, knowing it is an "untruth". There is an opinion poll among academics that claims GMOs are safe. But a scientific consensus is a consensus of evidence, not opinion. If you look for a scientific consensus, you will find that the consensus is: "We don't know if GMOs are safe".

In this reality also, GMOs are crops that are resistant to glyphosate. Glyphosate kills all non-GMO plants, and we are dumping billions of gallons of it in the environment. Bayer/Monsanto claimed it is biodegradable, but that was another "untruth".

Talking about genocide, it was the family behind Bayer (IG Farben) that made the gas that killed the jews. Also a pesticide, incidently. Eat my GMO food please.

If being anti-GMO makes you guilty of genocide, then so does eating meat. A meat eater uses 4 times as much land and fertilizer as a Vegan. If Joël is a meat eater, he could feed 3 malnourished children by going vegan. DeMorgen newspaper very much pushes the meat agenda. So they are also responsible for the malnutrition in the world, and therefore guilty of genocide. 

I sent this rebuttal to DeMorgen, but got back an error message.
