Maximize Community, Not Consumption

Humans are both Individuals and a Community. We have egotism and altruism.

Capitalism, which I would define as making money with value papers (money, ownership, debt,...), instead of actual work, dictates that the meaning of life is to maximize your personal wealth.

There is some logic to Capitalism. If you are spending your own money, you should be more responsible. Many billionaires however are subsidized with endless credit, stockprice manipulation and get money from the government.

Competition does breed excellence. But again, banks and governments warp the market with endless credit, pumping stock and subsidies.

Can you call The Western economy a Meritocracy, when banks and governments pick the winners and losers of the market? Elon Musk, for instance, was a creation of the government and the banks. They warped the market, because there is nothing green or efficient about cars with 500kg batteries. And colonizing Mars is a fantasy.

You can choose community in A True Meritocracy. You can create co-operatives, a business where the workers own the company. You can have Altruistic Green Capitalism.

But the banks and the governments of The West have chosen to hand the economy over to Billionaires. As I understand it, The Right thinks rich people are genetically superior (see Steven Pinker). They don't even have to make a profit anymore. We are too stupid to question the elite.

I knew from the start Elon Musk was a conman and into eugenics. Electric cars are perhaps the biggest waste of resources that humanity has ever committed. You can make 15 000 phone batteries with a Tesla battery. I'm certain we are not going to recuperate those metals.

Thanks Obama (who gave Elon specifically 5 000 000 000 dollars, to build his first factory). You're so cool.

peace ✌️ 💜
