Cooking Plants In Your Microwave And Making Excuses For Poor People

I'm unfortunately subscribed to DeMorgen newspaper for 3 years. One interview was with a professional academic knower-of-the-poors who said that poor people can't eat healthy because they only have microwaves and real food is expensive. Inequality in "The System" makes them fat and unhealthy.

For over a decade, I lived off €1000 per month, in a country where the median income is over €4000. My rent was €800, but I lived with a family member to be able to live. I'm an experienced poor. Please don't make me out to be a helpless victim.

A Vegan diet is one of the healthiest and cheapest diets, and cooking your plants in the microwave (20min on 300W) is the cooking methode that preserves the most nutrients. A can of Beans, which is healthy protein, is dirt cheap. Much cheaper than Meat or Junkfood.

Just chop some Sweet Potatoes, Vegetables, add a can of Legumes (Beans, Chickpeas, Lentils, Green Peas, Soy Products), put them in the microwave for 20 min at 300W, at the end add Salt, Pepper, Oil and Vinegar (Herbs and Spices optional) and you have a complete healthy meal that is cheaper than one Bicky Burger (TM) at the fry shack.

A place I worked at with poor people, like me, offered free food that was donated by businesses. These people only wanted Meat and Junkfood, they argued over it, and complained about the offering of Vegetables and Plant Based Meat Alternatives. The Vegetables ended up in the freezer, and then thrown away. They do not want to eat their free Vegetables. I was like that for most of my life. It was ignorance and immaturity. Stunted growth.

You are not helping people by telling them they are helpless victims.

peace ✌️ 💜
